YOUR SCHOOL CAN WIN
A FREE PRESENTATION PACK OF BRITAIN ALONE STAMPS
Many Schools recreate life in wartime Britain and hold World War II Days as part of their curriculum. Our resource, DOMESTIC BLITZ-BLITZ AND PIECES, is ideal for teachers to use to supplement their classroom activities.
This unique resource was developed with the Arts Centre at Warwick University and includes a teachers book and supporting DVD with many extracts from wartime GPO films and propaganda news flashes!
How one school recently celebrated its World War II day features in the Summer 2010 issue of Teachers Post together with an item about the most recent issue of stamps, BRITAIN ALONE.
BRITAIN ALONE pays tribute to the hundreds of thousands of men and women who did their bit for the war effort during Britain's darkest hour. The eight stamp images sum up the determination of the people to succeed despite significant odds.
If YOUR SCHOOL runs a World War II Day simply write and tell us (an email will do) and we'll enter you in a prize for a free Presentation Pack. We have several packs to award!
If you have any pictures of your event for a future edition of Teachers Post, we will send you a free Presentation Pack as a 'thank you'
DO YOU HAVE A GOOD STORY TO SHARE?
Perhaps something your pupils have undertaken?
Perhaps something exciting that has happened at your school?
Perhaps something we could include in a future issue of Teacher's Post?
We would welcome hearing from you.

to briefly put us in the picture.
We will then reply to you and between us develop an interesting article for inclusion in a future issue.
Incidentally, we are pleased to hear from teachers and feedback on our resource is a valuable way of ensuring they continue to meet your classroom needs.
